A beautiful town centre 17th century stone cottage tucked away in a quiet cobbled street in the heart of St Ives, with reserved parking space nearby.
Cornish Cottage in St Ives is steeped in history and has been lovingly restored and completely refurbished to an exceptionally high standard. Whilst it has all the comforts of a bijou boutique hotel the cottage is still full of original charm and retains its Cornish character with wonky walls, window seats and exposed beams.
With just one bedroom sleeping two guests the cosy granite cottage is the quintessential romantic town centre retreat. A wood-burning stove sits in the original Cornish granite fireplace and is perfect for cosy nights in, with the cottage also heated by underfloor and central-heating.
Located at the bottom of a narrow, curved and cobbled street just paces away from the renowned Barbara Hepworth sculpture gardens and museum, this tiny one-up one-down is in the hub of town; strolling distance from absolutely everything and less than two-minutes from the harbour, cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries.
You walk straight into the sitting room with a super-comfy sofa, a rug on the limestone floor and an immaculate kitchen to the side. The bedroom is up narrow stairs with local art on the walls and a sumptuous bedhead. Although small it is well designed and the bathroom has a bath and waterfall shower.
Parking wise there is a free reserved space for one car in a private road approx ten minutes walk away, though you can offload your car very close to the cottage.
All in all Cornish Cottage blends stylish contemporary interiors with delightful period character and is the perfect romantic bolthole for two, ideal for both summer and winter breaks.

LOCATION
We had an amazing stay at the Cornish Cottage, it is a beautiful quaint property with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Its very quiet even though it is literally 2 minute walk to the harbour, very central, excellent location. Would highly recommend.
You could sense the history in this cottage, and imagine a family sitting by the fire, and nestled at night in the upper rooms. At the same time, this was a well-appointed, modernized, and tastefully decorated cottage. Superb location, close to restaurants, shops, and the harbour. Lovely hospitality and finishing touches were greatly appreciated.
Cornish cottage was absolutely perfect in every way. So cleverly thought out and beautifully designed. A fantastic use of space made for a really comfortable stay, and the decor was outstanding. We will be back!
