COSY COTTAGE IN ST IVES

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Figgy Cottage! We chose it for its perfect location - just a short walk from Porthminster Beach and St Ives train station - and it exceeded all our expectations! The cozy bedroom, beautifully designed rooms, and the charming patio and garden made it a truly special place to stay. Every amenity we could possibly need was provided, making our stay so comfortable. Alan was fantastic with communication - quick, helpful, and welcoming. We highly recommend Figgy Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and cozy holiday. Thank you Alan & Sharon and the So St Ives team.

I can't rate So St Ives highly enough. The whole booking process went smoothly from start to finish, from the warm and efficient communication to a really good welcome pack for me… and Duffy the dog! We stayed at Figgy Cottage, which was charming and very clean. A real heavenly hideaway with a very welcoming feel. The garden and courtyard were delightful and the parking space a bonus. The extra touches at the cottage were so appreciated - deckchairs for the garden, a hose for a sandy dog, hooks outside for towels, baskets for boots, the most gorgeous pictures and ornaments, interesting books, a really well equipped kitchen, a great shower and the most comfortable bed and bed linen. And to top it all, the very beautiful Porthminster beach is moments away, complete with an exceptional restaurant.

Christmas at Figgy Cottage was delightful, everything we needed was there. A home from home feel, clean, peaceful and within easy reach to town and the beautiful Porthminster beach. Would definitely recommend and would return… oh and thank you for all the lovely goodies!

We have just spent our third stay at Figgy Cottage, booked via So St Ives. Figgy is ideally situated, beautifully furnished & has dedicated nearby parking. We can't imagine staying anywhere else in St Ives. Alan & his team always manage our booking fantastically well & our dog loves the treats left for him as a welcome gift. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely stay at Figgy Cottage for our honeymoon. Beautiful cottage and the courtyard and garden were perfect. The welcome gifts and card, which included treats for our dog, were a lovely touch. Great location for going to the beach and reaching the nearest amenities within a few minutes and the car space is always a bonus. The cottage had everything we needed and we had a great week!

Our stay at Figgy Cottage was glorious. The weather was amazing so the garden and pretty courtyard were a huge bonus for us. The location is perfect as it’s out of the hustle and bustle but only minutes to walk to into the town centre and harbour. The cottage itself is beautifully appointed and stylish. The gifts left for our arrival were so welcome - especially the Cornish coffee pods - perfect for my oat milk cappuccino. I loved the decor and the beautiful, local artwork and books. Just gorgeous. So St Ives are very friendly, professional and approachable. Thanks Alan! We have booked same time next year already!

Another fantastic stay with So St Ives at Figgy cottage. Even though the weather was not ideal it didn't detract from a fantastic week. We cant wait to be back in St Ives again soon and will definitely be booking with So St Ives. Thanks Alan & Sharon!

A small but perfectly formed cottage. A beautiful garden area as well. Awaiting welcome gifts much appreciated. In a great spot close to the beach and only a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops.

We had a just lovely week at Figgy Cottage. This place has everything you need, it's warm and cosy and is well equipped if you want to cook your own food. The tea, coffee and milk on arrival is a nice touch and very welcome after a long journey to Cornwall. The cottage is idealy situated just minutes from the town and you have the beach right opposite. The allocated parking space is also a massive plus. This place is ideal for couples looking for a quiet romantic break. I must also say a big thank you to the So St Ives team who have been so accommodating, we have had to make a couple of amendments to our booking but it's been no problem. Brilliant service and will definitely use them again when we are next in Cornwall.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Figgy Cottage. It was well equipped, spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was excellent. Also it is in a fantastic location, with a lovely beach on its doorstep. St Ives is certainly the place to stay in Cornwall and we hope to return to Figgy Cottage soon.

Figgy Cottage was a fantastic oasis of an idyll, set behind the stunning Porthminster Beach. We enjoyed pottering around St Ives and heading to other beaches in the area. The cottage is the perfect spot for two. The garden is a sheltered gem of a place to hang out. Lots of outdoor space and easy access. We loved it!

Had a fantastic week at Figgy Cottage in St Ives. The cottage has everything you need, is beautifully decorated and in the best location. The welcome pack was lovely, there were even doggie biscuits for Willow our Labrador! To have parking and a garden is a rarity in St Ives, which made the holiday for us, knowing you don’t have to stress about finding a parking space is a great bonus and the garden is so pretty and a very welcoming space to relax in after a day out. Swam every morning at Porthminster beach, only minutes from the door. The town with its many shops, restaurants and bars is only 5 minutes walk. Thank you So St Ives, we’ll be back!

We have visited St Ives for many years and first impressions are key, the moment we arrived we were taken aback by the quality throughout the property, how super clean everything was as well as the thoughtful extras on display … from the welcoming card for Krista and myself to Ronnie’s bedtime biscuits and name card, superb touch! The service was attentive when required and the fact we have enquired about a return whilst still on holiday speaks volumes, fingers crossed for a cancellation over the remainder of the summer! Figgy Cottage is an absolute gem, the patio area and garden presents a unique and wonderful get away.

We loved our stay at Figgy Cottage. It is hard to explain in pictures and this review, but it has a really lovely feel to it. Alan was extremely responsive and provided us with lots of local information about the area. It is a great location - 5 minute walk (if that) into town - and we enjoyed being close but not right in the centre of St Ives. The beach is really close and it’s great having a private parking spot. It was also lovely having two areas of outside space at the cottage. The whole place has been done up to a really high standard and we loved the personal touches throughout. Thank you for a lovely stay (in difficult times post lockdown); we would love to come back soon!”

We have just had the best Christmas staying at Figgy Cottage. If you are looking for that perfect authentic St Ives cottage, this is the place. It’s very private and quiet. The cottage is beautifully decorated and finished with everything you need provided. The garden is stunning and great if you have dogs with you. Our pug loved the garden. In these authentic cottages sometimes the kitchens can be too small but figgy cottage has a great, well equipped kitchen which allowed us to cook a full Christmas dinner!! We cannot wait to return.

Wow!! Figgy Cottage surpassed our expectations. My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights over Valentine's weekend and, despite storm Dennis hitting the shore, were so pleased with our stay. The cottage itself is stunning, so clean and fresh, yet has all the beautiful finishing touches fitting with Cornish traditional decor, almost a cute nautical feel. The cottage has absolutely everything you could possibly need, and upon arrival we were welcomed with a lovely welcome note, olives, cheese, delicious freshly baked bread bread and cider (our favourites, how did they know??!!). The location is perfect, it's on the doorstep to Porthminster beach, a very short walk from St Ives Centre and a stones throw from the fabulous Harbour Hotel (my boyfriend and I booked into an afternoon spa day at the Harbour Hotel with a massage and afternoon tea - lovely, highly recommend). I would also recommend Porthminster Cafe which overlooks Porthminster beach, stunning food and friendly staff, again a stones throw from Figgy Cottage. If you're looking for a lovely getaway in St Ives, I highly recommend you choose Figgy!

Arrived tired after an 8 hour drive to find an absolute haven. Figgy Cottage is spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped with exceptional attention to detail. Located just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of St Ives. Figgy Cottage: We took the train from St Ives to Lelant and walked the coastal path back to St Ives. It was a perfect walk. Please be reassured that Figgy Cottage will not disappoint. It really was a fabulous place to explore the area from. We will look forward to a return visit.

Figgy cottage is absolutely perfect, beautifully decorated, cleverly designed to make best use of the space, lovely personal touches and a brilliant outdoor space. The location could not have been more perfect, cross over the road for the steps down to the beach and a five minute walk into the heart of St Ives.

FIGGY COTTAGE: To put it simply, a wonderful cottage in a superb town, we don’t feel like we could have asked for more. The cleanliness and attention to detail were second to none and we felt comfortable and relaxed from the moment we arrived. We’re already planning our trip back next year with our dog Belle.

The location was good and it was easy to get into town and the harbour as well as close to the railway station. Plus of course the beautiful Porthminster Beach just opposite and the Porthminster cafe, which is definitely a must to visit. Everything in the cottage was so thoughtfully done and very clean. We had an easy, comfortable and enjoyable stay. All communication with Alan was quick and helpful.
