We have just returned following a wonderful stay at Sands Studio during the first week of July. The studio was probably the best accommodation we have had in St Ives. The location couldn’t be bettered, very close to the beach so you could pop back and forth with no need to carry everything down in one go, also easy reach to the harbour and town, no big hills to walk up. It is easily accessible by car and has an onsite parking space large enough for most cars. Sands Studio was spotlessly clean and very well maintained with every modern appliance and furnishing you will need to facilitate a relaxing comfortable holiday giving it a really home from home experience. The crowning glory was the view from the balcony overlooking St Ives Bay towards Godrevy Lighthouse a view you could never tire of whether enjoying a morning coffee, an afternoon G&T or a late night beverage.
SANDS STUDIO: This place is stunning, exactly how the photos portray it. Thoughtful touches, well equipped and a perfect location - we had a wonderful stay. We were there over Christmas and the kitchen was fully equipped for us to cook a perfect festive dinner for two! Can’t fault it.
Sand Studio: Just wanted to say how wonderful this apartment is! We have been coming to St Ives for 25 years and have never stayed anywhere as delightful with such attention to detail - all too often photos disappoint when you arrive but certainly not in this case. We love the mix of mid century and contemporary, just stunning.
SANDS STUDIO: Had the most amazing stay at Sands Studio! So comfortable and relaxing! Our highlight was the gorgeous private balcony that has the most beautiful sea views over the bay. Such a perfect location only 2 minutes walk from the harbour front and all the restaurants, shops and galleries! Such a nice touch with the welcome treats, it was all just so wonderful! Definitely will be back!!
SANDS STUDIO: Fantastic experience at Sands Studio The apartment is designed beautifully to suit all your needs throughout your stay, from underfloor heating to the nespresso coffee machine and fluffy dressing gowns. The location is perfect in St Ives with an incredible sea view from the living room. Jess the host was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I'd definitely stay here again and have already recommended this place to friends. Thank you!
SANDS STUDIO: Cosy, stylish and a perfect location... Stayed often in St Ives and this is one of the most memorable. A beautifully styled studio apartment with fab view (and parking!!).
SANDS STUDIO: Is tucked away in a quiet location directly behind Porthgwidden Beach. With a wonderful away-from-it-all feel, enhanced by a stunning sea-view through the wall of window that graces the spacious living area, it is situated close to the main attractions of St Ives, including the beautiful harbour to the east and the spectacular Porthmoer surfing beach to the west. Combining comfort with style, we found Sands Studio to be the perfect place to relax and marvel at the changing sea-scape.
SANDS STUDIO: The apartment is luxurious and beautifully designed. On the door step of the best beach in St Ives, you can take challenging and easy walks straight out of the door. Its a joy waking up there - we'll be re-booking again immediately!

SANDS STUDIO. St Ives is a town that I know and love and it was such a delight to stay in this stunning mid-century apartment. The apartment is newly refurnished with exquisite attention to detail, including lovingly re-upholstered mid-century furniture and high end fixtures and fittings. The lovely, attentive owners provide a wonderful conciege service, recommending restaurants and walks and even providing a delicious breakfast in their hotel in town. The fact the apartment is owned by hoteliers is apparent in the spotless appearence, high quality sheets and towels and the lovely little extra touches such as throws to use while sitting on the balcony and the offer of additional services such as picnic hampers. The apartment is in the heart of St Ives and the views of the sea are uninterupted. I will absolutely be returning to Sands Studio on my next trip to St Ives.
SANDS STUDIO. It was such a pleasure to stay in this beautifully designed mid century apartment, right in the heart of St Ives. The apartment has recently been completely refurbished to an extremely high standard, with wonderful attention to detail. The owners run a boutique hotel in St Ives and provide impeccable concierge style service, recommending restaurants and walks and they even provided me with a wonderful breakfast at their hotel. The location couldn't be better and the view from the living area and balcony is just incredible. Staying at Sands is like staying in your own private 5 star hotel. I will absolutely be coming back.
