OVERVIEW OF 28 PIAZZA

28 Piazza is a truly wonderful 2-storey property situated in the most perfect of areas in Downalong, just seconds away from St Ives’ award winning and most popular surfing beach of Porthmeor. The property is located so close to the beach and harbour that it was formerly used as a fishing net loft.

Just this year the property has undergone major refurbishment resulting in a very tasteful and welcoming, light and airy interior, incorporating three bedrooms, two bathrooms and beautiful open-plan living/kitchen/dining space.

The location of 28 Piazza is perfect for anyone wishing to explore St Ives on foot. A few seconds one way is private access to the clean golden sands of Porthmeor beach, a couple of minutes the other way is the beautiful harbour. Also just a short stroll away is the bustling town centre, the grassy headland of The Island and the stunning secluded Porthgwidden beach. There are top restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries everywhere you go in St Ives, and did we mention that the St Ives Tate is also just a couple of minutes away!?

The property itself is a 2-storey reverse-level apartment. Two of the bedrooms (double and bunks) and en-suite shower room are on the entrance level ground floor with one further twin bedroom upstairs. There is a larger bathroom with walk-in shower upstairs along with the lovely and spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, microwave and the all-important Nespresso coffee machine (we even include an initial supply of Nespresso coffee capsules!). For washing facilities there is an on-site launderette.

The living room has two extremely comfortable sofas; perfect for lounging, playing board games or relaxing watching a film on the Smart TV. The dining table comfortably seats six.

Up the steps opposite the entrance door you will find a communal ‘viewing platform’ with stunning views overlooking Porthmeor beach.

With cosy central heating 28 Piazza is the perfect property in a beautiful and characterful area of St Ives at any time of year.

Offloading your car at 28 Piazza is easy and just a few paces from the apartment entrance door.

Thank you for a fabulous stay in a beautiful property [28 Piazza]. Amazing location to all the local amenities that we could wish for. Loved watching the stunning sunset at Porthmeor within a stones throw away. Bonus was having an allocated car parking space and Norway Stores literally opposite for supplies (including delicious St Ives Bakery goods). Only downside was I hadn’t read that we could access a viewing platform over the beach … so a great excuse to revisit! A perfect holiday in all. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful property! We know Piazza well and this property did not disappoint - very well furnished and to a high specification so all home comforts were considered. The owners and agency have obviously put a lot of thought into small details, such as lots of books to choose from and coffee pods on arrival! There was plenty of room for a family of 5 with everyone having space to chill. The location is superb - in the heart of everything and across the road from Norway Stores for fresh croissants and all other essentials. We had a lovely 2 week stay and look forward to coming back soon.

Lovely weeks holiday to the beautiful St Ives staying at 28 Piazza. Wow what a lovely apartment with plenty of room for a family of five. Very clean and modern with all high spec equipment. The apartment was light and airy and felt so clean and comfortable. Located in an excellent position with private direct access to Porthmeor Beach which the kids loved. Lovely complimentary goodies including a voucher to spend in the Allotment Deli added an extra special touch. Would definitely book with So St Ives again in the future.
