Porthmeor Beach: While dogs are not allowed on Porthmeor Beach during these dates and times during peak season (15th May – 30th September between 10.00am – 6.00pm), they are welcome before 10.00am and after 6.00pm. With its golden sands and rolling waves, Porthmeor Beach offers plenty of space for your dog to run and explore. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shoreline or soak up the sun while your furry friend enjoys the salty breeze.

Bamaluz Beach: Located just a short walk from the town center, Bamaluz Beach is open to dogs all year round. Tucked away between the harbour and Porthgwidden Beach, this hidden gem provides a quiet retreat where your dog can dig in the sand and paddle in the shallow waters.

Porthkidney Sands: Situated on the eastern side of St Ives Bay, Porthkidney Sands is a vast stretch of golden sand that welcomes dogs throughout the year. This remote beach is perfect for long walks and peaceful picnics with your canine companion. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the dunes and estuary.

Harbour Beach: While dogs are not allowed on Harbour Beach during these dates and times during peak season (1st July – 31st August between 10.00am – 6.00pm), they are welcome before 10.00am and after 6.00pm. This family-friendly beach offers stunning views across St Ives Bay and is ideal for a relaxing day by the sea with your furry friend. Treat yourself to a beachside meal at the renowned Porthminster Beach Cafe while your dog rests at your feet.

Porthgwidden Beach: While dogs are not allowed on Porthgwidden Beach during these dates and times during peak season (1st July – 31st August between 10.00am – 6.00pm), they are welcome before 10.00am and after 6.00pm. Porthgwidden Beach in St Ives is a charming cove nestled between the iconic St Ives Harbour and the renowned Porthmeor Beach. This picturesque beach not only offers breathtaking views of the coastline but also extends a warm welcome to our furry companions, it’s a great family beach.

Some of our dog-friendly holiday cottages have designated outdoor areas for exercise and play. These properties are Ocean Scene, Stones Reef, Merryn, Trenoweth Lodge, Seawater Cottage, Figgy Cottage, The Loft. Please check the property details for specific amenities available. We also provide dog treats on arrival.

Can I leave my dog unattended in the holiday cottage?

No, our conditions state that dogs shouldn’t be left unattended in the property. If you need assistance or recommendations for dog-sitting services, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Are there any rules or guidelines for guests with dogs in the holiday cottages?

Yes, we have a few rules and guidelines in place for our doggy guests. Please clean up after your dog, dogs are not to be left alone in the property and not to be allowed on sofa’s and beds. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines for a pleasant stay for everyone.
