Carbis Bay is a lovely coastal village close to St Ives in Cornwall and is rapidly becoming well known for its amazing food spots and restaurants. Whether you’re looking for romantic fine dining or dog-friendly cafes you need to look no further than our top picks.
Fine Dining in Carbis Bay

MOR Restaurant by Tom Sellers
One of the newest additions to the Carbis Bay restaurant scene, MOR brings a new fine-dining experience to the coast, with a pretty spectacular setting overlooking Carbis Bay Beach.
MOR is the latest restaurant from Tom Sellers, the chef behind two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Story in London. Its name comes from the Cornish word for sea, which feels very fitting given both the views and the restaurant’s focus on the produce and changing seasons of Cornwall.
At the heart of the kitchen is a raw bar and charcoal grill, with menus showcasing Cornish ingredients including hand-dived scallops, day-boat fish, locally sourced meat and seasonal vegetables. The menu changes with the seasons, making the most of what’s available from Cornwall’s coast and countryside.
The restaurant itself is contemporary but relaxed, with huge windows making the most of those beautiful views across the bay. Despite being a fine-dining restaurant, it isn’t designed to feel overly formal, and there’s also a dedicated children’s menu.
For something a little more casual, ONE MOR, the restaurant’s bar, is open to everyone and is a lovely spot for a drink or lighter bite while taking in the sea views.
If you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply fancy treating yourself to somewhere a little different during your stay, MOR is an exciting new addition to eating out in Carbis Bay.
