Overview of The Cabin

The Cabin is located just 15 minutes on foot down to the heart of St Ives and benefits from having its own small enclosed terrace and garden in which to retreat to after a hard day on the beach! With driveway parking it is also the perfect property from which to explore the delights of West Cornwall and the South-West coastal path.

The Cabin is arranged on one level with open-plan kitchen/dining/living room leading out through the glass doors to the enclosed courtyard and garden, where you will find outdoor dining set along with a Big Green Egg bbq!

The living area has a log burner perfect for those cooler evenings (initial logs and kindling provided) and an ideal accompaniment for cosying up on the large corner sofa while enjoying a Netflix movie on the 50” tv (Sky is also included by the way).

The bedroom has super-king sized double bed and fitted wardrobes, while the bathroom has a rain shower over the 6ft bath.

For a one–bedroom apartment the kitchen is extremely well equipped with Nespresso coffee machine, oven and Smeg induction hob, a commercial flat grill, large fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and slimline dishwasher. The 2-seater breakfast bar is perfect for informal dining. The washing machine & tumble dryer complete the facilities available.

Some stunning coastal and inland walks are easily accessible as The Cabin is located just a few minutes walk from the SouthWest coast path. Why not enjoy the amazing coastal scenery on a long walk to Zennor with a pasty and pint waiting for you at the other end in the Tinners Arms!

Porthmeor is the closest of St Ives’ beautiful beaches to The Cabin, just a ten minute walk down to one of Cornwall’s most stunning sandy surf spots and home of Tate St Ives (maybe add a couple of minutes on for your return walk back up the hill!). A few minutes further on will bring you to St Ives harbour, town centre and the old fishing quarter of Downalong with its many art galleries and twisting turning cobbled streets. Porthgwidden beach and Porthminster beach are also easily accessible, as are their lovely beach fronting restaurants and café bars.

Just a two minute short stroll from The Cabin is a well-equipped local shop for all essential supplies.

Sorry, no pets are allowed at The Cabin.

GUESTS REVIEWS

Fabulous indoor, outdoor space! The Cabin is super quiet, private and extremely comfortable, we would happily stay again. We came by train and managed well, it's a 15 minute walk to town and 25 on the way back up! However there's a really well stocked Spar at the end of the road so you have all bases covered. It's a really beautifully designed space and very cosy for two.
